Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82
