It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
