۞ O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah: but Allah is the One Free of all wants, worthy of all praise. 15 If He will, He could destroy you and bring about a new creation. 16 This is well within the power of God. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 And the blind and the sighted are not equal! 19 nor are darkness and light 20 nor cool shade and torrid heat; 21 Nor are (alike) the living (believers) and the dead (disbelievers). Verily, Allah makes whom He will hear, but you cannot make hear those who are in graves. 22 You are only a bearer of warnings. 23 Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner. 24 And if they deny you - then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture. 25 but in the end I seized those who were bent on denying the truth and how terrible was My punishment. 26
