The trumpet will be blown and, at once, they will rise up from their graves, and hasten to their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 Nothing will there have been but one single blast - and lo! before Us will all of them be arraigned [and be told]: 53 today no soul will be wronged at all; nor shall ye be requited but for that which ye have been working. 54 Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation - 55 in happiness will they and their spouses on couches recline; 56 therein they have fruits, and they have all that they call for. 57 (It will be said to them): Salamun (peace be on you), a Word from the Lord (Allah), Most Merciful. 58 "But stand aside today, O you who were lost in sin! 59 ۞ Children of Adam, did I not command you not to serve Satan -- he is to you an open enemy 60 and that you should serve Me? This is a straight path. 61 "But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand? 62 "This, then, is the hell of which you were warned again and again: 63 Burn in it on account of your disbelieving. 64 Today We shall seal up their mouths and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to their misdeeds. 65 And had We willed, We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way. Then how could they have seen? 66 If it had been Our will, We could have paralysed them where they stood, so that they would not be able to go forward or turn back. 67
