But what is the matter with those who deny the truth, that they come hastening towards you 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 I do not need to swear by the Lord of the eastern and western regions that We have certainly all the power 40 to replace them by a better people and none can challenge Our power. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 the Day on which they will hastily come forth from their graves, as though they were hurrying on to the altars of their deities. 43 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; this is the day, which they had been promised. 44
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
