The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
