۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
