But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We have not taught him any poetry nor would it be fitting for him. This is merely a Reminder and a clear Quran 69 That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the unbelievers. 70 Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that they are their owners. 71 Whom We made subservient to them so that some of them they ride and some they eat? 72 And therein they have advantages and drinks; will they not then be grateful? 73 But [nay,] they take to worshipping deities other than God, [hoping] to be succoured [by them, and not knowing that] 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 So let not their speech grieve you. Indeed, We know what they conceal and what they declare. 76 Does not man see that We have created him from the small seed? Then lo! he is an open disputant. 77 He strikes for Us a similitude and forgot his own creation. He says: “Who will quicken the bones when they have decayed?” 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 who has made fire for you from the green tree with which you kindle' 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 When He wills a thing He has only to say: "Be," and it is. 82 So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
