Al-Najm 3 of 3
(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
