▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
