Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
