Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 on a Straight Way, 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
