Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Illustrious scribes 11 who know of all that you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
