The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 by the Promised Day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
