Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
