The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 And it is forbidden for any township which We have destroyed, that they may return. (Once the disbelievers face death, their return to earth is impossible.) 95 until such a time as Gog and Magog are let loose [upon the world] and swarm down from every corner [of the earth,] 96 And the certain promise (of Doom) comes near. Then the eyes of unbelievers will be fixed in horror, (and they will cry:) "Ah, woe betide, we were indeed heedless of this, and were oppressors and unjust." 97 Verily ye, (unbelievers), and the (false) gods that ye worship besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell! to it will ye (surely) come! 98 Had these been gods, they would not have come to it and all shall abide therein. 99 There they shall groan with anguish and the din and noise in Hell will not let them hear anything. 100 Surely (as for) those for whom the good has already gone forth from Us, they shall be kept far off from it; 101 They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally. 102 They will not be affected by the great terror. The angels will come to them with this glad news: "This is your day which was promised to you." 103 On the day when We shall roll up heaven as a scroll is rolled for the writings; as We originated the first creation, so We shall bring it back again -- a promise binding on Us; so We shall do. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 Verily in this is a preaching for a people who are worshippers. 106 We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. 107 Say: "This is what has been revealed to me: 'Your God is one and only God.' So will you bow in homage to Him?" 108 If they turn away, tell them, "I have warned every one of you equally. I do not know when the torment which you have to suffer will take place. 109 Verily He knoweth that which is public in speech, and He knoweth that which ye hide. 110 But [as for me,] I do not know whether, perchance, this [delay in God's judgment] is but a trial for you, and a [merciful] respite for a while." 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge Thou with truth! And our Lord is the All-merciful; His succour is ever to be sought against that you describe.' 112
