And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 Stamp the ground with thy foot, yonder is water to wash in, cool, and water to drink. 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 (and We said to him): “Take in your hand a bundle of rushes and strike with it, and do not break your oath.” Indeed We found him steadfast. How excellent a servant (of Ours) he was. Indeed he constantly turned (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 Everlasting Gardens – all its gates are open for them. 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 All this [for the righteous]: but, verily, the most evil of all goals awaits those who are wont to transgress the bounds of what is right: 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 All this (is for them); so let them taste boiling water and pus, 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will continue saying, "Lord, double the torment of fire for those who led us into this. 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or are they here, and our eyes have missed them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
