Observest thou not those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah? whither are they turning away! 69 Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know, 70 When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along- 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 Then it is said unto them: Where are (all) that ye used to make partners (in the Sovereignty) 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 Enter [now] the gates of hell, therein to abide: and how vile an abode for all who are given to false pride!" 76 Therefore have patience, the Promise of Allah is true. Whether We show you something of that We promise them or call you to Us, to Us they shall all return. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
