Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by what you see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
