(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
