The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
