And the Satan will say when the affair hath been decreed: verily Allah promised you a promise of truth; and I promised you, then I failed; and I had over you no authority, save that I called you and ye answered me; wherefore reproach me not but reproach yourselves. I am not going to succour you nor are ye going to succour me: verily I disbelieve in your having associated me afore. Verily the wrong-doers! for them is a torment afflictive. 22 As for those who had believed and did good in the world, they shall be admitted to the Gardens beneath which rivers flow. There, with the leave of Allah, they shall abide forever, and will be greeted with: "Peace". 23 Have you not considered how Allah sets forth a parable of a good word (being) like a good tree, whose root is firm and whose branches are in heaven, 24 and yields fruits in every season, by the permission of its Lord? God sets forth parables for people so that they may take heed. 25 An evil word is compared to an evil tree with no firm roots in the land and thus has no stability. 26 God will strengthen the believers with His steadfast word, both in the present life and in the Hereafter. God lets the wrongdoers go astray. He does what He wills. 27
