Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
