Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
