Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 and execute the great task of apportioning (rainfall): 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 By the heaven with its numerous forms: 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter), 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 They slept little in the night, 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. 20 And also in your own selves. Behold ye not? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23
