Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
