Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
