Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 The stars turn dim and scatter, 2 And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, 3 And when milch camels roam abandoned. 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 when the souls shall be coupled, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this [message] the word of any satanic force accursed. 25 Where then will you go? 26 Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds: 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
