Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
