This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 And even if We had revealed it to one among the foreigners 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 In this wise have We made way for it into the hearts of the culprits. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 What! do they still seek to hasten on Our punishment? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 It was not the satans who brought it down: 210 neither are they worthy of it, nor are they capable of it, 211 Most surely they are far removed from the hearing of it. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And thy movements among those who fall prostrate. 219 for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Did you not see that they keep wandering in every valley? 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. 227
True are the words of God the Almighty.
