Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
