Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
