And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
