▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 Wherein are two fountains flowing. 50 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - 72 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 78
