Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
