Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
