The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
