The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an recounteth with truth unto the Children of Isra'il much of that wherein they differ. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
