BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 and all that you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
