The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay, but this [divine writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
