The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
