T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. 5 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. 6 Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 And has the story of Musa come to you? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." 10 So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa: 11 Verily, I am thy Sustainer! Take off, then, thy sandals! Behold, thou art in the twice hallowed valley, 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 I Am the only God. Worship Me and be steadfast in prayer to have My name always in your mind. 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 Do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 The Lord said, "Moses, throw it on the ground". 19 So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds." 24
