The Companions of the Wood rejected the messengers. 176 Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God? 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 so fear God, and obey me. 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ "Maintain just measure in your business and do not cause loss to others. 181 Weigh on an even balance. 182 “And do not give the people their goods diminished, and do not roam the earth causing turmoil.” 183 "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old." 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said, “My Lord is Well Aware of what you do.” 188 But they denied him, so there came on them the retribution of the day of gloom. Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
