Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
