VERILY, [O believer,] it is We who have bestowed from on high this Qur'an upon thee, step by step - truly a bestowal from on high! 23 So submit patiently to thy Lord's command, and obey not of them any guilty one or disbeliever. 24 and glorify your Lord morning and evening; 25 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). 26 Surely these love the transitory and neglect a grievous day before them. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 Surely this is a reminder, so whoever pleases takes to his Lord a way. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He admits to His Mercy whomsoever He pleases. As for the wrong-doers, He has prepared for them a grievous chastisement. 31
