In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 To clear or to warn. 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 For a known calculated term. 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
