And when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was sickness said: 'Those, their religion has deceived them' But whosoever puts his trust in Allah, indeed Allah is Mighty, Wise. 49 And if you could only see when the angels took away the souls of the unbelievers, striking them on their faces and backs, saying: 'Taste the torment of burning. 50 That is for what your hands have forwarded, Allah is not unjust to His worshipers' 51 Like are they unto the wont of the house of Fir'awn and those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, wherefore Allah laid hold of them for their sins. Verily Allah is strong, Severe in retribution. 52 That is so because Allah will never change a grace which He has bestowed on a people until they change what is in their ownselves. And verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. 53 Similar to the behaviour of the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and those before them. They belied the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) for they were all Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.). 54 Verily the worst of creatures in the sight of God are those who deny (the truth), and will not believe. 55 As for those with whom you have made a treaty and who abrogate it every time, and do not fear God, 56 if you meet them in battle, cause their example to scatter those behind them so that they remember. 57 or, if thou hast reason to fear treachery from people [with whom thou hast made a covenant,] cast it back at them in an equitable manner: for, verily, God does not love the treacherous! 58
