ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
