And rehearse to them (something of) Abraham's story. 69 When he said unto his father and his folk: What worship ye? 70 They said: We worship idols, and are ever devoted unto them. 71 He asked: "Do they hear you when you call them 72 'Can they benefit you or harm you' 73 They said: "No. But we found our fathers doing so." 74 He said: "Do ye then see whom ye have been worshipping,- 75 you and those ancient forebears of yours? 76 Surely they are enemies to me, but not (so) the Lord of the worlds; 77 Who created me and showed me the way, 78 And He Who gives me to eat and gives me to drink: 79 and heals me when I am sick. 80 who makes me to die and then revives me, 81 “And the One Who, upon Whom I pin my hopes, will forgive me my mistakes on the Day of Judgement.” 82 [And he said], "My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous. 83 And ordain for me a goodly mention among posterity 84 And make me of the heirs of the garden of bliss 85 "And forgive my father - for, verily, he is among those who have gone astray 86 And humiliate me not on the Day whereon people shall be raised. 87 "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, 88 “Except he who presented himself before Allah, with a sound* heart.” (Intact or unblemished.) 89 And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 90 and Hell advanced for the perverse. 91 who will be asked, "What did you worship 92 "'Besides Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?' 93 Thereupon they will be hurled into hell - they, as well as all [others] who had been lost in grievous error, 94 Together with the hordes of Iblis. 95 They will say while they dispute therein, 96 "By Allah, we were surely in clear error 97 In equating you with the Lord of all the worlds; 98 It was but the guilty who misled us. 99 So now we have no intercessors 100 Nor any sincere friend. 101 If only we could return and be among the believers!" 102 Verily there is a sign in this, but many of them do not believe. 103 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
