We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
