And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much. 30 You cannot challenge God on earth and you will have no one besides Him as your guardian or helper. 31 And of His portents are the ships, like banners on the sea; 32 If He pleases, He causes the wind to become still so that they lie motionless on its back; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one, 33 Or He can cause them to perish because of the (evil) which (the men) have earned; but much doth He forgive. 34 Those who dispute Our verses may know that they have no asylum. 35 That which has been given to you is only the wherewithal of the transient life of this world. But that which is with Allah is better and more enduring for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord; 36 And those who avoid the heinous sins and indecencies and when they are angry forgive, 37 who respond to their Lord and attend to their prayers; who conduct their affairs by mutual consultation and spend out of what We have provided for them; 38 And those who, when great wrong afflicts them, defend themselves. 39 Let harm be requited by an equal harm. But whoever pardons and amends will find his reward with God. He does not love the wrongdoers. 40 There is no blame against him who avenges himself after he has been wronged. 41 The blame is only against those who wrong people, and are wrongfully insolent in the earth, for them there is a painful punishment. 42 To exercise patience and forgive (the wrong done to one) is the proof of genuine determination. 43

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
